International orders may be subject to local taxes or duties; Violet Darkling is not responsible for and has no control over these charges.

Violet Darkling uses New Zealand Post for all of its domestic and international delivery services. This cost will be included in the total price upon checkout once a destination has been selected.

EXCHANGE AND REFUNDS
Due to the candles and wax melts being hand-made and poured (not mass produced in a factory), the surface may be uneven due to the natural element of coconut or soy wax. The wax colour may vary; the photographs are for reference only and the colour may fade over time and can develop a ‘frosting’. We consider these ‘imperfections’ a part of the personal, hand-created ‘Darkling’ uniqueness.

Violet Darkling offers an exchange or refund 14 days after purchase if one is unhappy with the candle or wax melts in question. To be eligible for a return, your candle or melts must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Sale items are non-refundable; choose carefully as we do not offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind.

Please inform us by emailing customer services before you send back the product for exchange at info@violetdarkling.com or via our Contact Page.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, both to us and from us back to you. We strongly recommend that you send your order back to us by recorded delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please send all candle exchanges back to the Violet Darkling address given in our contact details.

Your piece of jewellery comes in a Violet Darkling branded pouch, in a box with ribbon.

EXCHANGE AND REFUNDS

Violet Darkling does not offer a refund once a jewellery piece has been purchased and dispatched to the customer, this is due to the double inspection period before a piece has been sent out. However, we do offer an exchange policy if one is unhappy with the piece in question. We are unable to accept exchanges on any item that has been worn and we do not offer any exchange or refund on earrings.
