CANDLES

Your candle comes wrapped in tissue in a Violet Darkling box with ribbon and a personal note from Violet.

DELIVERY

As your candle will be hand poured to order, please allow up to 6 days before dispatch.
All prices are shown in NZ dollars and all orders are shipped from New Zealand.
International orders may be subject to local taxes or duties; Violet Darkling is not responsible for and has no control over these charges.
Violet Darkling uses New Zealand Post for all of its domestic and international delivery services. This cost will be included in the total price upon checkout once a destination has been selected.

EXCHANGE AND REFUNDS

Due to your candle being hand-made and poured (not mass produced in a factory), the candle surface may be uneven due to the natural element of coconut wax. The candle colour may vary; the photographs are for reference only and your candle colour may fade over time and can develop a ‘frosting’. We consider these ‘imperfections’ a part of the personal, hand-created ‘Darkling’ uniqueness.

Violet Darkling does not offer a refund once a candle has been purchased and dispatched to the customer, this is due to the double inspection period before the candle has been sent out.

However, we do offer an exchange policy, which lasts for 7 days from receiving your purchase if one is unhappy with the candle in question. To be eligible for a return, your candle must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Sale items are non-refundable; choose carefully as we do not offer exchanges or refunds for change of mind.

 Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, both to us and from us back to you. We strongly recommend that you send your order back to us by recorded delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Please send all candle exchanges back to the Violet Darkling address given in our contact details.

All purchases will be dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of payment. Please allow for up to 4 weeks for delivery. You will be notified once your order has been dispatched.

However, we do offer an exchange policy if one is unhappy with the piece in question. We are unable to accept exchanges on any item that has been worn and we do not offer any exchange or refund on earrings.
